ARTISTS STATEMENT

As a fine art painter, I am always developing and exploring the challenges of working in an abstract format – essentially creating something from nothing. Using minimal composition, juxtaposed with color, line and texture I can freely express the energy and vitality, which spark the imagination. I am inspired by the intricacies of the geographic elements of nature and paint intuitively to convey a sense of tranquility and spiritual awareness. My particular interest in abstraction allows me to explore my inner being and feelings in a pure artistic form expanding my vision and hopefully the person(s) viewing the work.
